Marketing Manager - festivals
A dynamic event organiser who pioneer creative event experiences, based in West London seek a highly motivated Marketing Manager to work across an exciting new tour of outdoor events. Reporting to the Event Director, you will be responsible for marketing strategy, messaging, management and delivery of the tour marketing campaign, creating awareness and buzz with the ultimate objective of maximising ticket sales in each of their destinations.

Key Functions:
Plan and manage the marketing campaign of the tour including partnership marketing, media planning, budget management, creative briefing, managing the brand extension, managing the PR process and agency, digital and social media

* Quickly gain an understanding of each of the towns the tour will visit and build strong relationships with local communities
* Work with a media buying agency (where appropriate), or negotiate media deals directly where needed
* Copywriting for social media, email and print campaigns and website in line with the Brand's tone of voice
* Work closely with appointed local marketing agencies in generating pre, at and post show coverage
* Management of suppliers
* Work closely with the Event Director, Operations team and Sales team to fulfil commitments to sponsors, media partners and stakeholders
* Brainstorming, exploring and implementing new routes to market with the wider team
* Brief and manage the setup of the event ticketing process with the designated ticketing provider, managing ticket allocations, ticket reporting and ensuring a smooth customer journey
* Generate analysis and evaluation reports of all marketing, promotional and press activity to inform future plans and activity
* Establish contacts and network with industry-specific media, personalities and brands
* Analyse marketing activity throughout the campaign to maximise ticket sales and revenues
* Research & analysis. Conduct post-show visitor research in order to understand our audiences and gather information and data critical to the future planning of the event
* Develop ticket model with Event Director. Daily reporting of ticket sales plus periodic ticket sales analysis.
* Managing the customer service process to ensure that customer queries are answered quickly and to address any recurring queries in the event FAQs

Skills & Attributes:

* Proactive and able to work both as part of a team and independently
* Strong copywriting and creative skills
* Good understanding and experience of brand management
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines a must
* Ability to work with all team members (from the most junior to the most senior)
* Interpersonal skills, excellent communicator
* Advanced Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
* An eye for design and Photoshop experience preferable
* A consumer events background is essential
