Our client is seeking an exceptional - B2C Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the marketing strategy and plans across the entire event portfolio - The role's key priorities are to deliver ticket volume and revenue across all events, as well as exhibitor lead generation for their flagship event. The role has ownership of the entire visitor customer journey from initial engagement and ticketing processes through to the running of FOH at events to ensure a smooth on-site entry experience.

Role Responsibilities:

* Scope and develop ticket sales growth plans, optimising channel development and expenditure.
* Develop the events channel plans to grow ticket sales profitability and ROI
* Delivery of all internal and external ticketing campaigns
* Effective measurement of website funnel and developing optimisation plans

* Ensure effective tagging and tracking of activity
* Scope and plan activity, test and learn and scale
* Oversee plans and tests on ticket types, regions and data sets to identify optimum ways of generating revenue
* Upsell and cross sell

* Advise on, and oversee, test and roll-out Communication Strategy
* Work with marketing teams to deliver recommended data-use plans
* Report channel performance - volumes, use, type, progress to targets
* Analyse all activity to inform and shape future activity

* Develop intervention tactics to deliver sales and revenue targets

With Event Sales team develop and own Exhibitor lead generation strategy

* Delivery of all internal and external lead generation campaigns
* Effective measurement of lead generation campaigns
* Analyse all activity to inform and shape future activity
* Champion best practice
* Develop effective communication strategies to generate leads to pass to sales team for conversion

Candidate skills & experience required

* Demonstrate experience where you have successfully guided projects in the above areas (Role Responsibilities) and presented event marketing based insight from data, research and observation
* Experience of marketing to and writing engaging copy for event conversion, in both online and offline channels
* Proven experience in managing digital and CRM functions in event environment, with a clear ability to articulate outputs and metrics
* Very strong CRM marketing experience, specifically in segmentation and targeting
* Very strong digital marketing experience, specifically in funnel optimisation and onsite conversion and testing
* Demonstrate creativity through innovative marketing campaigns
* Confident in data analysis and the associated tools to manipulate and present to stakeholders
* A hands-on approach with a passion for testing; naturally results-driven
* Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and stay calm under pressure
* Attention to detail is vital
* Consumer event experience is essential
* Experience of Exact Target and HTML an advantage
* Experience of Google Analytics an advantage
