A high profile sporting organisation seeks an experienced hospitality and event professional to join the management team. This role is a varied role where you will be managing the catering function, including management of SLA's and contractor financial performance as well as working with the Ops team on operational delivery on a wide variety of events. You will manage the catering budget, work with the contractor on the creation of menu's and catering packages and complete the full menu tasting.

You will ensure that the events run smoothly, efficiently and to budget and work closely with VIP's and sponsors to deliver their requirements. Other responsibilities include:

-Managing the design of the hospitality areas, ensuring the look and feel is suitable for
multiple users.
- Work collaboratively with the Ops team on the build of all the hospitality areas including
internal floorplan, AC placement and TV requirements
- Manage the process for the creation of hospitality packages for the event , ensuring P/L is up
to date
- Have oversight of the hospitality brochure/sales collateral
- Work as part of the management team to define the sponsors hospitality requirements at the
event
- Work with the internal stakeholders on the fulfilment of sponsors tickets and contractual
rights
- Identify staffing requirements for the hospitality programme
- Manage the entire hospitality operation on site, being present in the main sponsor structure
at critical times during the day
- Compile facility manual required for each hospitality location
- Work with internal departments on the official functions outside of the hospitality function
- Create F&B requirements for official functions
- Manage the room dressing, floral, entertainment and staffing for additional functions
- Identify the exact sponsorship arrangements for each event
- Work with the Ticketing Manager on a full breakdown on tickets required for all events
- Brief the design agency on ticket print requirements
- Manage talent at events, including invitations and management of guest data

This is a busy, varied role and the candidate must have a "can do " attitude, be comfortable with multi tasking and taking on a Senior Operational role at events. You must be flexible and possess good interpersonal skills and be customer focused.

Candidates without a strong sports hospitality, outdoor event operations or catering background will not be considered. Experience of dealing with the build of temporary structures will be useful.
