Our client is the premier provider of innovative and creative information solutions for health professionals. Producing journals with the latest developments and aim to inform and inspire healthcare professionals at every step of their career.

You will be responsible for effectively promoting and selling complete group exhibitions and sponsorship products and service solution suites whilst driving sales revenue into target markets in line with corporate strategic objectives. Manage 3rd party agents and consultants as part of the project delivery group.

Specific Aims:

* Work collaboratively with the sales teams in a virtual management role to leverage existing relationships and contacts to develop and grow commercial revenues

* Participate in regular review and progress meetings ensuring the company is on track to deliver the mutually agreed revenue and KPI goals assigned to this prestigious event programme
* Report weekly activities, pipeline status, KPI's and sales to the Commercial Lead Careers and Sales and Marketing Director
* Attend and participate in monthly sales leadership team meetings where you will present individual sales performance against target, pipeline weightings and KPI status
* To sell Exhibitions and Sponsorship into strategic target markets via face to face, phone and online presentations,
* To personally build relationships with key stakeholders and buyers within target companies and maximise revenue potential by identifying with their needs and matching them to our products and solutions
* To ensure that a strong cost awareness focus is maintained in all commercial activities.
* To develop new business opportunities within new and existing accounts.
* To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships.

Essential:

* Strong knowledge of the event and sponsorship sales process
* Ability to listen and analyse information to identify an appropriate solution/response
* Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on a team approach
* Experience in motivating cross-departmentally to achieve a combined target
* Ability to demonstrate empathy and build productive long-term working relationships with clients and colleagues
* Demonstrates resilience, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines within a target-driven, pressurised sales environment
* Experience in Salesforce
* Will and able to undertake occasional UK and international travel
