A highly respected membership organisation in the City is looking for a well organised Event Co-ordinator to work across a portfolio of London based and regional events. You will have a strong organisational background, able to juggle many projects at once and be used to dealing with senior level professionals from your industry. There will be a varied portfolio of events including roadshows, client site visits, forums, away days and some involvement in their large scale annual conference and exhibition. There will also be some ad hoc office management duties as well.

Responsibilities include:

 Responsible for the organisation and execution of up to 50 event projects a year
 Ensure delegates and speakers have been provided with the correct and relevant event information in a timely manner
 Manage travel, accommodation logistics for internal staff and management, delegates and speakers for events
 Venue sourcing
 Communicate with venue staff in the lead up to the event and on the day so that they perform well on-site
 Coordinating catering and AV for events when required
 Coordinating invitation process or marketing for each event
 Ensure speakers arrive on time, and any last minute changes, no-shows are dealt with
 Providing support for the annual conference, including registration of delegates/delegate management
 Budget management
 Producing joining instructions and ad hoc documentation for events
 Ad hoc office management duties including dealing with issues with photocopier, printers and franking machine, ordering stationery and negotiating new contracts

3+ year's b2b event planning experience
Experience of project managing several events at one time
Good written and spoken English
