An historic unique Venue in London seeks a Commercial Events Executive To support the Head of Events and the Commercial Events team in delivering high calibre events and commercial projects in line with the Commercial Events strategic plan for venue hire of this beautiful visitor attraction.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Head of Events and the Commercial Events Team to reach departmental financial targets.
* Cultivate relationships with venue hire and filming clients/agencies to convert enquiries into profitable new and repeat business.
* Respond promptly to sales enquiries with a detailed, accurate and professional proposal within a defined timescale.
* Log all enquiries and monitor the diary by proactively working with the Commercial Events Coordinator and the Commercial Events Team.
* Assist the Commercial Events team and Corporate Development team on the delivery of corporate member and sponsor events benefits, ensuring a high level of client service and advice.

* Issue event quotes and contracts, ensuring clients are invoiced promptly and that financial information is recorded accurately.

* Act as a brand ambassador and raise the venues event profile by providing the highest possible levels of customer service throughout the sales process.

* Develop, manage and maximise the use of various systems with the Commercial Events Team.

* Manage a number of corporate member breakfasts in their entirety, from planning to completion.

* Have excellent knowledge of the venue and the various room capacities, unique selling points and capabilities whilst ensuring that all event locations and the diary are fully maximised in order to meet ambitious revenue objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successful reactive sales in event hire and filming including knowledge of unique selling points, strong IT skills including MS Office and CRM database management and excellent customer service skills including clear and engaging verbal and written communication.
