A well respected international exhibition organiser seeks a Senior Sales Executive to manage, lead and drive commercial activities for a portfolio of well established shows. Working alongside the Event Director to canvass existing and new data to generate new business and look after a large data-pool of existing business.
Some of the Day-to-day activities will include; to help drive commercial activities, Sell exhibition stands to new and established exhibitors and partners over the telephone and face-to-face (includes some travel) Generate new business through individual lead sourcing and sell value added services sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

* Sell exhibition stands to new and established exhibitors and partners over the telephone and face-to-face
* Generate new business through individual lead sourcing
* Sell value added services (sponsorship)
* Generate new leads/business and rebuild relationships with lapsed accounts
* Attend competitor events, expanding the database and prospecting for new business
* Assist in exhibitor promotion for the event
* Help manage the CRM system
* High output to ensure maximum coverage of the Aid and Development universe
* Accurate and timely reporting and pipeline management

The Successful candidate will have a strong interest in current affairs and some knowledge of the humanitarian and development sector. Sales experience within the exhibition industry. Good research skills to find new companies and leads. The ability to develop a deep understanding of the commercial landscape and products.
