A leading global exhibition organiser seeks a Regional Head of Sales across the US and Europe, to lead a small team of Sales Managers to leverage a consultative-sales approach to achieve and exceed revenue goals. The Regional Head of Sales will meet with Sales Managers regularly to develop their consultative sales skills and ability to articulate the event portfolio's value proposition as a solution. The Regional Head of Sales will be expected to attend outside sales meetings and competitive events as appropriate; some travel is required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Building relationships within the industry, acquiring knowledge of the industry
* Coaching Sales Managers on the consultative-sales process and benefits-led messaging
* Attending and planning for sales meetings with Sales Managers
* Selling exhibition space and sponsorship packages within a set of named accounts; some new business also required
* Collaborating with the Marketing team on presentations and collateral
* Ensuring all client deliverables are executed for each event
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date pipelines and prospect/client data in Salesforce (CRM)

The successful candidate will have at least three years' experience managing a team of event sales professionals, a strong verifiable record of achieving revenue goals; exhibitions and/or conference sponsorship sales with a positive attitude and high energy.
