A global international event organiser based in Surrey is seeking an experienced Events Manager on a one year fixed contract to work across a variety of events, conferences, seminars, awards and competitions within their international events portfolio, including event planning, content development, speaker acquisition, venue liaison, marketing and PR.

Key Responsibilities

* Identifying and securing speakers or special guests

* Liaising with clients and designers to create a brand for the event and organising the production of tickets, posters, catalogues and sales brochures, plus social media coverage

* Manage registration and all logistical aspects onsite for standalone events.

* Coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, contractors and equipment hire; organising facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media;

* Work with internal marketing colleagues to develop promotional materials and implement systems and processes for online registration, confirmation, payments etc

* Deliver events on time, within budget, that meet expectations undertaking on site, on-the-day management of events.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will have extensive events experience and the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload and who is well developed in planning and problem solving. Experience in either events management or marketing is essential.
