An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive for a 9 month maternity contract within this stunning Grade II listed conference and event venue in central London. The Sales Executive role is a key position within the organisation as they are the first point of contact that a client has with the venue.

Main duties include:

* Manage the receipt, handling and escalation of sales enquiries via email, web and telephone
* Utilise Priava (web based Sales & Event management software) to log all sales enquiries and keep updated accordingly
* Respond to clients using appropriate communication methods and in a timely way
* Conduct venue show rounds with prospective clients
* Utilise tablet based technology or virtual reality to present venue off site
* Work with Event team to ensure bookings transition from sales effectively and remain part of the event delivery process
* Represent venue at networking events and trade shows
* Other tasks and duties as required by the business

Key result areas:

Consistently confirm bookings. The expectation would be to:

* Grow income from our extensive portfolio of repeat business
* Proactively sell to new clients and markets
* Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
* Ensure clients who enquire receive a response within customer service guidelines
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure revenue is maximised from each client

Experience required:

Experience of sales in a hotel, conferencing or venue environment

Good background in customer services
