A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced German speaking New Business Executive to join a dynamic international B2B exhibition company, on a market leading exhibition in a fast moving industrial sector.

Main duties:

* Generate new business contacts and revenue from new and lapsed clients
* Reach and exceed sales and revenue targets and performance objectives
* Effectively manage and grow new customer relationships
* Ensure the customer experience is positive to ensure long term customer retention and rebuild relations with lapsed customers
* Research the market, analyse trends and use that information to engage with new customers and qualify effectively
* Make recommendations regarding Sales Plans and future new business sales strategy
* Be a market expert and market shaper

Experience & Skills required:

* Minimum 3 years of sales experience
* Spoken and written fluency in English is a must and any other language is an advantage
* Strategic and target driven business development experience essential
* Experience of international new business generation
* Digital and Sponsorship sales experience an advantage
* Proven track record of problem solving and constructive solution selling
* Experience presenting and influencing at a senior level
* Must be able to work late shifts to cover the US, Canada and South American markets
* Ability to work in a high performing, fast paced, matrix environment
* A hunger for new revenue
* Customer and account focused
* Engaging and empathetic with ability to challenge at senior levels
* Personal credibility and gravitas to command respect from the team, wider business and clients
* Self-motivated, self-sufficient and accountable
* Adapts well to change
* Target driven and hungry for success
