A stunning unique venue seeks an Event Sales Executive, with experience in selling to agencies and corporates. You will manage customer accounts to ensure repeat bookings have been explored, follow up with potential clients, conduct site visits and upsell additional provisions wherever possible. The successful candidate will be organised, friendly and a motivated self-starter who is driven to succeed in a sales environment.

Key responsibilities

* Assist in ensuring that catering is operating at an optimum capacity, maximizing income, per event, per month.

* Contribute to achieve and exceed where possible, the monthly and yearly sales targets set by the Board.

* Analyse and review all repeat and large events from previous financial periods. Assist Head of Event Sales with reporting and analysis.

* Contribute to increasing repeat business conversion from 40 to 60%.

* Assist with all reactive enquiries submitted to the catering company.

* Upon confirmation from a client, ensure that contracts and deposits are implemented for each event and filed, on site, accordingly.

* Use the provided computer software to accurately capture all events/enquiry data.

* Ensure Health and Safety information is received from the clients and associated contractors.

* Assist Head of Event Sales with marketing activity. Monthly action plans, re-branding, website maintenance.

* Database management, social media and marketing tools to be reviewed with Head of Event Sales.

* Organise and attend client site visits for potential forthcoming events.

* MICE agencies targeted and 10 sales calls made a week. Appointments and site visits to be booked as a result.

* Assist the Head of Event Sales with entertaining prospective clients, as required.

* Conduct proactive, including weekly targeted calling days and manage and record the data capture in the weekly sales report document.

* Be fully aware of the Company's promotions across all market segments and where appropriate assist in the communication of such promotions both internally and externally.

* Maintain a good knowledge of the company's key competitors and their sales and development activities.

* Assist the Head of Event Sales with analysis of the business and its marketing activities, as required.

* Assist the Head of Event Sales in entertaining prospective clients.

* Help maintain the photograph library for marketing purposes.

* Conduct regular social media postings across all platforms.

* Assist head of Head of Event Sales with Website analytics, SEO and Google ad words.

* Collate testimonials for future marketing campaigns and assist the marketing manager with both Google and Social Media reviews.
