A global Event Management Agency seeks a Business Development Manager/Director to join their C&I division, specialising in the high-end corporate incentive sector. You will be looking for a challenge, be very hands on, target driven and will drive forward the growth of the division. You will be responsible for targeting new leads, proactively networking and running your own portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong sales skills, a portfolio of client leads combined with luxury product knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the incentives market, with awareness of travel management. Experience of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning, together with outstanding presentation and project management skills, are essential, as is a proven reputation for generating new leads and deliverables. You will need to be flexible to business needs including from time to time attending new business and consumer facing events.

Main Duties:

* Acting as a key sales person for business development initiatives
* Proactively generating leads and networking - responsible for sourcing, generating and following up on sales leads
* Proactively identifying, calling and meeting with prospective clients and following up accordingly
* Working closely with Incentive Manager to put together incentive packages for potential individual and group travellers/ corporate groups
* Attending prospective client meetings as and when required
* Resolving any client complaints quickly and efficiently
* Keeping up to date with new products within the luxury event and travel market
* Investigating innovative new ways to build and promote the company brand
* Lead generation - responsible for sourcing, and pursuing all leads to ensure maximum conversions
* Sourcing prospective clients from numerous sources
* Achieving sales targets
* Ensure client payments are taken in a timely fashion
* Budget management
