A leading consumer-focused events company seeks a Sales Executive to work on a high-profile B2B/B2C show, assisting in exhibitor (stand) sales. The position requires dedication, passion and creative thinking. Sales experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will possess a willingness to learn and a have dedication to the role.

Main responsibilities include:

* Selling stand space to targets set by Event Director
* Correctly categorising and intelligently prioritising leads
* Using multimedia research to identify new exhibitors
* Ensuring online floor plan is kept up to date
* Providing support for the on-site show team at time of show
* Securing re-books on site at shows
* Effectively developing and managing customer relationships
* Selling to the database provided converting prospects into contracts

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

* Energy and drive
* Confident phone manner
* Ability to influence and close sales on the phone
* Time management including the ability to prioritise
* Customer service skills
* Ability to build client relationships
* Basic computer knowledge (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook)
* Team player
* Capacity to develop and learn new skills
