A leading training organisation seeks a Sponsorship Sales Manager to maximise sponsorship revenue for its conference portfolio in the EMEA region, identify new prospects and secure opportunities in this area. The ideal candidate will be an effective networker and self starter, with a demonstrable background selling sponsorship in technology markets. The role will involve client visits and business travel to research new leads and follow up existing leads. You will have the ability to manage clients from initial sale through to onsite delivery, creating sponsorship value by demonstrating an understanding of your clients, their brand values and objectives from initial sale through to onsite delivery.

Main responsibilities:

* Meet or succeed set yearly and monthly sponsorship sales revenue targets by selling consistently to secure revenue from repeat sponsors and gain new clients and prospects
* Convince the prospect of the benefits of sponsoring or exhibiting at events
* Organise face to face meetings with clients directly and travel to meetings as necessary
* Enhance the effectiveness of the sponsorship sales process and closing sales
* Work effectively with producers, marketing and logistics as part of each event's project team
* Write /input on effective sponsorship proposals, briefs and agreements
* Manage sponsors' expectations and move them towards long-term, high value sponsorship relationships
