An award winning global media and events company seeks a target driven sales professional to source exhibitors for a B2B show, with a high focus on new business generation. The ideal candidate will have proven telesales experience with a track record of exceeding targets. When you are not selling space over the phone you will be out in the field, attending client meetings, canvassing new business at competitor events and of course being on-site for the duration of your show.

Main duties

* Ensure sales targets (personal and product) are achieved every month/each event.
* Ensure expected telephone call rates are achieved consistently.
* Develop and grow the existing client base and spend.
* Actively and intelligently seek new business.
* Ensure all new business is followed up and turned in to repeat business.
* Ensure that the "quality of exhibitor" is kept at the highest achievable level.
* Manage your clients before, during and after the show.
* Deliver an event section that meets exhibitor and visitor expectations.
* Liaise with the operations team ensuring the smooth running of the exhibition during build up, the event open times and break down.
