A new organiser of sporting events and festivals seeks a Hospitality Sales Manager to lead on driving group sales for their events to charities and corporates. You will be responsible for setting the sales strategy and plan, networking, stakeholder engagement, delivery of group sales initiatives and co-ordination. The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role with the ability to build relationships and think strategically and creatively.

Key responsibilities:

* Network, identify and build partnerships/relationships with key stakeholders, updating existing contacts and developing new ones
* Create and lead new activities/initiatives to drive engagement and sign ups - with clear business case and rationale e.g. corporate competition within/between industries, maximising conversion, revenue and profit
* Reactive and proactive sales, communications and presentations
* Manage the sales and registration process for group sales
* Co-ordinate suppliers/contacts organising logistics and delivering key tasks throughout the life cycle of the events (including local events and major event weekends)
* Support event day charity, corporate and other group sales activities where appropriate
* Evaluation of strategy and plans to ensure commercial return
* Liaise internally and externally with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in to plans, successful delivery and lasting relationships

Essential skills/experience:

* Confident communicator (verbal and written) and presenter with excellent interpersonal skills - able to quickly establish connections with a variety of organisations and individuals
* Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
* Organised, action orientated and fast moving
* Energised, entrepreneurial flair and develops creative solutions/ideas
* Experience of planning and delivering engagement/sales activities and initiatives
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Flexible approach to working outside of normal office hours (weekend and evening work will be required as events dictate)
* Passion for sport and fitness
