A high profile event service provider is seeking a proactive and dynamic Senior Sales lead to develop new business opportunities within their ancillary event services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving high-yield event service and partnership sales, expanding revenue streams, and establishing new strategic commercial partnerships. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of event services and a proven track record in commercial management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively identify and capitalise on new business opportunities by devising effective marketing strategies and sales tactics to secure high-value contracts.
* Leverage expertise to sell services to large-scale and long-lead contracted Conferences & Exhibitions (C&E) events, ensuring the alignment of services with client needs.
* Drive sales efforts targeting large-scale new business C&E events within the Account Management sales pipeline, nurturing relationships to convert prospects into loyal clients.
* Innovate by identifying and implementing new event service revenue streams to diversify and expand the company's offerings.
* Strategically identify and cultivate new commercial partnerships, such as the exhibitor stand build proposition, to enhance the value proposition for clients and maximise revenue.

Experience and Qualifications

* Substantial experience and an in-depth understanding of event services and the industry supply chain are essential to succeed in this role.
* Preferred experience in Agency, Audio Visual, or General Service Contractor (GSC) roles, as familiarity with these domains will be advantageous.
* A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial management and business development is required, showcasing a track record of successful sales achievements.
* Proficiency in building strong internal relationships and adeptness in managing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and pitches are crucial skills for this role.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective commercial strategies, accurately forecast market trends, and capitalise on opportunities to maximise revenue.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the capability to understand, influence and persuade potential clients and partners.
